Habitus
Erect shrub, branches terete, up to 2 m tall. Stipules inter petiolat present, triangular. Leaves simple, entire, opposite, coriaceous, 2-12cm long, .5-4cm broad, oblong obovate, apex obtuse-acute. Inflorescence terminal, flower solitary, corolla white with elongated tube, stamens not exserted. Fruit fleshy baccate.
