Habitus

Scandent scrub, 5cm in diam.; branchlets, petioles, veins on lower side of leaves, pedicels, bracts, and calyx, covered with a pale brownish indument. Leaves somewhat shiny above, dull greyish-green below; calyx brownish-yellow, corolla creamy, with a reddish zone at the inner side of each petal; stigmas white, covered with a slimy substance.
