Grandes feuilles simples alternes à court pétiole épais, limbe coriace atteint 30 x 10 cm. Nervure I arrondie très saillante face inférieure. Nervures II en arceaux réunis avant la marge. Points pellucides (dots) dans le limbe. Longue infrutescence (axillaire ?) dressée par un long pédoncule. Fruits à un carpelle ou infrutescences à 2 - 5 carpelles verts puis dehiscents brunâtres.
