Dozens
of supporters of gun rights rallied at the Capitol today.
They're waiting for a ruling from the
Missouri Supreme Court on a challenge to a new law that would
allow most residents to carry concealed weapons.
House member Larry Crawford, who
sponsored the concealed guns measure, today urged advocates to be
patient. He said gun rights supporters need to be careful not to
do or say anything to jeopardize the court's ultimate decision.
And he asked them not to call the Supreme Court to check on the
status of the case.
Rally participants wore buttons reading
"Guns Save Lives."
They also heard from several
legislators who supported the concealed guns bill last year.
