Lance Armstrong, apparently reassured by the
quality of his performance in stage 14,
refuses to consider defeat. Still wearing the
yellow jersey, he does not manage to gain time
against rival Jan Ullrich in the Pyrénées.
Nevertheless, he rejects the idea he'll be dominated again in the final individual time
trials next Saturday between Pornic and
